Tapas Kumar Mollick

Executive Director

Mr. Tapas Kumar Mollick is the founder and executive director of SESDO (Social and Environmental Sustainable Development Organization), a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-political organization. He earned a postgraduate degree from Bangladesh’s City University. In his academic career, he completed thesis papers about “compare and contrast between tradition and modernity.” He received a lot of certificates from renowned training institutions.

Since 2011, he has gained extensive experience in the NGO sector, including volunteer work, community development, research assistantships, assistantships to project managers and coordinators, senior research executives, and executive directorships of nearly ten projects. He did work on climate change mitigation, coastal communities, diversity, nature-based solutions, tree plantations, mangrove forest conservation and restoration, and ecology. He serves a large group of poor communities through organic farming, agriculture, water, food security, free medical treatment, social awareness, and women’s empowerment. His publications include almost 25 articles and books about climate change, diversity, nature, environmental awareness, sustainable development, organic farming, food crises, nutrition, health, pure water, global warming, natural disasters, mangrove forests, the Sundarbans, education, poverty, and social awareness. Recently, he received a lot of awards from renowned institutions for his valuable social activities.
