Project Introduction

The Workshop on Life and Livelihoods of Coastal Communities is designed to address the unique environmental, economic, and social challenges faced by coastal populations. Coastal communities depend heavily on marine and coastal resources for their livelihoods, making them particularly vulnerable to climate change, environmental degradation, and socio-economic pressures.

This workshop aims to build resilient and empowered coastal communities that live in harmony with their natural environment while ensuring the sustainable use of marine and coastal resources for present and future generations.
