Empowering Women, Restoring Ecosystems!
SESDO proudly introduces the WE-RISE Model, a women-centered, climate-smart, and ecosystem-focused initiative designed for vulnerable rural communities in Satkhira, Bangladesh. WE-RISE empowers women through sustainable Chui Jhal (Piper Chaba) cultivation while enhancing biodiversity and creating resilient livelihoods.
Through WE-RISE, women will:
* Cultivate Chui Jhal (Piper Chaba) for income and local markets
* Restore ecosystems & homestead biodiversity
* Develop climate-resilient agricultural practices
* Build sustainable, eco-friendly livelihoods
* Gain skills in green entrepreneurship and climate adaptation
