Through SESDO’s climate-smart agriculture initiative, small-scale farmers are growing diverse vegetables using sustainable, low-cost practices on limited land. In just 30/40 days, the crops are already thriving. This shows the rapid impact and scalability of climate-smart solutions in vulnerable coastal areas.
This integrated approach strengthens food security, promotes efficient land use, protects agrobiodiversity, and builds climate resilience for communities on the frontlines of climate change.
With strategic support from donors and partners, SESDO’s CSA-3 model can be scaled to reach more farmers, diversify livelihoods, and deliver long-term, nature-based resilience where climate impacts are most severe.
