Just three months ago, this 1.29 hectare coastal site in Gabura Union, Bangladesh was degraded and vulnerable.
Today, it is alive with healthy mangroves, protecting coastlines, restoring biodiversity, and strengthening local livelihoods.
This transformation was achieved through Community-Based Ecological Mangrove Restoration (CBEMR), led by local women and youth, guided by science, and rooted in community ownership.
Impact at a glance:
* Coastal protection
* Biodiversity recovery
* Women & youth leadership
* Climate-resilient livelihoods
This is not a pilot.
This is proof of impact.
We are now seeking international partners, donors, and collaborators to scale Mangroves4Life across the Sundarbans and other climate-vulnerable coastlines.
Let’s build resilience — together.
