Honored to Be Recognized for World Environment Day 2026
SESDO (Social & Environmental Sustainable Development Organization) is honored to receive the official World Environment Day 2026 Thank You Card from the United Nations Environment Programme in recognition of our registered event, Mangroves4Life.
On 5 June 2026, SESDO proudly joined the global World Environment Day campaign by organizing a community-based environmental awareness event in Gabura Union, Satkhira, Khulna Division, Bangladesh, one of the world’s most climate-vulnerable coastal regions bordering the Sundarbans.
This recognition reflects our participation in the global campaign and reinforces our long-term commitment to community-led mangrove restoration, climate resilience, and ecosystem conservation. Through close collaboration with local communities, we continue to promote nature-based solutions that strengthen both people and the environment.
We sincerely thank our community members, volunteers, partners, and supporters whose dedication made this initiative possible. We also extend our appreciation to the Green Earth Action Foundation and YPARD Bangladesh for their valued collaboration during World Environment Day 2026.
