“Guisap” Or “Komodo Dragon”. A harmless animal, a farmer’s friend too. Once it was seen all over the country, including in the yard of the householder’s house, in the forests, swamps, farmlands. It doesn’t look like that anymore. It is disappearing for various reasons. It is damaging the environment. Experts say Komodo Dragon cannot be killed even if it is to protect its ecological importance and biodiversity.
But the good news is that some Komodo Dragon are still surviving in the area under our implemented project, in order to sustain and increase the number of these Komodo Dragons, SESDO has already taken some initiatives. In several sinkholes, drains, reservoirs and small ponds we are cultivating fish only to provide food for the dragons.
