Mangroves4Life Successfully Completes Ma Earth Funding Round 3 with Global Community Support
We are delighted to share that Mangroves4Life has successfully completed Ma Earth Funding Round 3 with the support of 136 people from around the world.
Together, our project received $13,860 USD, including matching funds, demonstrating the growing global belief in community-led mangrove restoration and climate resilience.
To every donor, every person who shared our story, and everyone who believed in our vision for restoring the Sundarbans, we extend our heartfelt gratitude.
This achievement is about much more than funding. It is a powerful reminder that people around the world believe in local communities leading the restoration of nature and building a more resilient future.
We sincerely thank the Ma Earth team for creating this opportunity and for their guidance throughout the journey. We also thank Regenerosity for helping connect our work with people who believe in grassroots environmental leadership. Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to the anonymous donor whose extraordinary generosity will create a lasting impact for coastal communities and mangrove ecosystems.
With this support, we are now moving forward with the restoration of an additional 3 hectares of degraded coastal land along the edge of the Sundarbans through Community-Based Ecological Mangrove Restoration (CBEMR).
Working alongside local women, young people, fishers, farmers, and community leaders, we will continue restoring nature, strengthening climate resilience, protecting biodiversity, and empowering local communities to become long-term stewards of their environment.
We believe that successful restoration is not measured only by the number of trees planted. It is measured by healthier ecosystems, stronger communities, and local people who continue caring for nature for generations.
As our restoration journey continues, we remain committed to sharing our progress, lessons learned, and field experiences with transparency. We look forward to keeping our supporters updated as new mangroves take root and coastal communities continue leading the restoration of one of the world’s most important mangrove ecosystems.
Once again, thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey.
Together, we are restoring more than mangroves.
We are restoring hope, resilience, and the relationship between people and nature.
