We are honored to share thatย Tapas Kumar Mollick, Founder & Executive Director of SESDO, has been recognized as a GEAF Ambassador, part of the Green Earth Action Foundation Ambassador Programme. This recognition is a proud moment for coastal communities in Bangladesh, where young people, especially rural youth and girls, are taking action to protect nature, reduce plastic pollution, and strengthen climate resilience.
On 4.29 Green Earth Action Day, Tapas will lead a youth-driven environmental event at Khalishkhali Saiva Balika Vidyalaya, engaging students, youth, volunteers, and community members in climate awareness, community cleanup, and tree planting. By nurturing local leadership and environmental stewardship, this initiative transforms one day into a journey of ongoing action and responsibility.
