Tragic Death of Thousands of Trees on Satkhira-Ashashuni Road

Today I will tell you some sad news. Satkhira is a coastal district of Bangladesh, Satkhira district is directly affected by climate change. Another sad news is that about 15000 big trees have died on both sides of Satkhira to Ashashoni main road and the remaining thousands of trees are dying. The only reason these trees are dying is climate change.

Due to the death of so many trees, the local community of the area is in a lot of psychological distress, the environment is severely damaged and endangered today. The balance of the environment is being destroyed in a big way. Today, when we are all committed to fighting climate change, planting thousands of trees and encouraging local people to plant trees, it is a huge shock for us to see 15,000 trees die.

In order to protect the balance of the environment, these dead trees should be removed soon and 15000 new trees should be planted, otherwise, it will be difficult to protect the balance of the environment. SESDO has taken the decision to plant these new trees. We will soon plant new trees on both sides of the road. But the problem is, we don’t have enough funds, if any person or organization would help us a little, we could plant these 15000 trees in a short time. SESDO has only one goal, that is to work against climate change and to plant more trees to protect the balance of the environment.
