“Use jute products, protect the environment from plastic pollution”
Plastic pollution is an important topic of discussion in today’s world. Currently many discussions, meetings, seminars are being held on plastic pollution. As a result of this plastic pollution, the environment is seriously damaged, mankind is damaged, wildlife is damaged, biodiversity is damaged, ecology is damaged, human health risks are increasing, environmental pollution is occurring, marine animals are being damaged, the overall effect of which is on climate change.
We are using plastic products in many ways in our daily life, by which we ourselves are harming the environment. If we could have used something else instead of this plastic, then maybe plastic pollution would not have been so much and the environment would not have been so damaged. Whether something else can be used instead of plastic, that is what we are going to talk about today. Yes, we have a product that can be used instead of plastic, that is “jute”, yes, we mean jute. We have seen that every day we bring home various kinds of daily necessities from the market in plastic polythene, instead of this plastic polythene we can easily use jute bags. All it needs is awareness and technical support. If we can properly implement the use of jute products in society and increase awareness about this, we can definitely say that plastic pollution will be reduced to a great extent. Bangladesh is one of the countries directly affected by climate change, a large population of Bangladesh lives in coastal areas surrounded by mangrove forests (Sundarbans), they are destitute today due to climate change, they are severely affected, today they depend on fishing and mangrove forests for their survival. Having to do, there is no opportunity for employment, the land does not produce crops due to salinity, today they have no opportunity to work, women are greatly backward, they also have no opportunity to earn. They face problems with food, water, education, health, low standard of living. Today, if we can employ these people who are backward due to climate change by training them in making jute products, we can develop them, then they will be provided with employment resources, their quality of life will improve, Again, the use of jute instead of plastic in their manufactured products will reduce both the use of plastic and pollution. Bangladesh is a country where a large part of the world’s jute is produced. With these jute and jute products, we can play a major role in reducing the use of plastic and plastic pollution in the world.
As a result of the use of jute products,

5) It is possible to provide employment to women through training on jute products
6) It is possible to play a role in the work resources, quality of life and socio-economic development of people affected by climate change

Since 2017, SESDO (Social and Environmental Sustainable Development Organization) has been working on environmental protection, biodiversity protection, mangrove forest protection, improving the quality of life of backward communities, agriculture and farmers, food security, ensuring safe drinking water for all, health, women’s employment and climate change. SESDO (Social and Environmental Sustainable Development Organization) has set a theme to reduce the use of plastic and plastic pollution, this year’s theme of SESDO is “Use jute products, protect the environment from plastic pollution”. SESDO will continue to fight against plastic keeping this slogan in front. If any organization wants to help us or if any organization comes forward to our side then we can implement our plan properly. Because we have a plan to provide employment to more people by setting up more machinery for jute products and at the same time by producing more jute products to expand people and ensure the use of jute products among people. SESDO (Social and Environmental Sustainable Development Organization) believes that if any organization comes forward with SESDO then SESDO will definitely be able to implement this plan.
